Born in Bushey (a long time ago), Hertfordshire, UK.

Dad always had a nice camera, but used it mainly on our holidays and we had plenty of holiday snaps and slides to boot, he bought me my first camera, a plastic Kodak kind that took 120 type film  when I was around eight or nine years of age. I enjoyed using it and occaisionally loaded it up with a film!

Photography took a back seat for a while at school, photography wasn't an option at the school I attended, my interest was re-ignited when my camera was upgraded one birthday to a Pentax ME 35mm and propelled further after joining Kodak UK, working in the Paper Finishing department producing silver halide photographic paper.

Kodak obviously had darkroom facilities, so I joined the photographic society where myself and other members helped each other to learn the skills of developing and processing our own photographs.

Along came digital and the end of my time at Kodak (you don't need as much silver halide paper these days), I have continued to develope my skills winning cups and competitions at the local Camera Club and some more recent results are here for you to enjoy.
